Norman Webb Hutchings launches China Doll and becomes one of the first in the country to package rice and beans in individual, retail-sized bags, making it easier for families to bring home a kitchen staple that was once sold in bulk only.
A Legacy Preserved Through Family
Harris Morrissette and Robbie Outlaw two local Mobilian families that have always been in the food business purchase China Doll Rice and Beans Inc. Under their leadership, the company continues focusing on USA-grown ingredients and Southern Values.
