- 1 cup of Dixie Lily old‑fashioned oats
- 2 cups milk (or water)
- 1 apple, peeled & diced
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- tbsp brown sugar (optional)
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- In a pot, combine oats, milk, apple, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Cook 8–10 min until creamy and apples are soft.
- Serve topped with pecans and a dash of extra cinnamon.
