- 1 cup of Arnett’s or Dixie Lily Cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, and oil. Stir into dry ingredients until just combined.
- Pour into pan and bake 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
