  • 1 cup Dixie Lily yellow rice
  • 1 lb sausage (original, Italian, or spicy), browned and drained
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese
  • 6 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 can crescent rolls (standard size)
  • 1–2 cups shredded cheese (your choice)
  • Salt, pepper, and Creole seasoning, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F. Prepare your Dixie Lily Yellow Rice according to package directions.
  2. Brown the sausage in a skillet, then drain excess grease. Stir in the cream cheese until melted and well combined with sausage.
  3. Press crescent roll dough into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, smoothing out seams.
  4. Spread the cooked rice evenly over the dough layer.
  5. Top with the sausage and melted cream cheese mixture.
  6. Pour the beaten eggs over the layers, then sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Season with salt, pepper, and Creole seasoning.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the casserole is set and the top is lightly golden. Serve warm and enjoy!
