  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup Dixie Lily flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. Combine cornmeal, salt, and boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in egg, milk, flour, and baking powder.
  3. Drop spoonfuls onto a greased hot griddle. Cook until golden on both sides.
