- 2 cups Dixie Lily Self-Rising Cornmeal
- 1 ½ cups buttermilk
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup oil
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Place butter in cast iron skillet and heat in oven.
- Mix cornmeal, buttermilk, egg, and oil until combined.
- Pour into hot skillet and bake 20–25 minutes.
