- 1 lb navy beans (soaked 2 hr)
- ½ lb side pork, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ tsp dry mustard
- ¼ cup ketchup
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Soak beans, drain.
- Cover with water, bring to a boil, then simmer until tender.
- Stir in pork, onion, sugar, mustard, ketchup, and salt.
- Simmer 30 min more until thick and rich.
